In memory of Blake Burgess, a 2018 Memorial graduate, a scholarship has been established to be awarded to one Edmond Memorial High School football player each year.
The recipient is chosen based on 10 qualities and characteristics that Blake exhibited: Humble, Hungry, Leader, Coachable, Respectful, Determined, Loyal, Courageous, Passionate and Positive. The recipient must exude these characteristics and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. The recipient does not have to play post-secondary football.
